Working With Us

~Ecossential provides a full array of counsulting, analiysis and contracting services for both residential and commercial clients. We specialize in Eco-renovation, and provide services ranging from Home Performance with Energy Star Energy Audits to full LEED project certification~

The usual starting point is with a Home Performance with Energy Star Energy Audit for which the Energy Trust of Oregon provides a $150 incentive to receive. We add value to our Home Performance with Energy Star Energy Audits by evaluating building water usage and renewable energy feasibility as well as indoor air quality.

Included in every Audit is a detailed report on both the problems and opportunities for your home, as well as a proposal customized to your building, budget and desires for enhancing comfort while saving energy/carbon/water/cost. Our reports also include information on cash/tax incentives and finance options, as well as metrics on how a Green Building Retrofit adds value to your building.

LEED for Homes

If you are planing an in-depth remodel of your home you may wish to pursue LEED certification. LEED certified homes are more valuable, durable, environmentally friendly, cost less to operate and are in general smarter buildings. Both new and older homes can be certified, and have the same pre-requisites of correctly sized heating systems, as well as energy efficiency testing including a thermal by pass check and HERS rating.

We specialize in Comprehensive home Remodeling with LEED, aim to attain silver or gold LEED certification and focus on LEED points in the following categories: Water Efficiency, Energy & Atmosphere, Materials & Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, Innovation in Design, and Regional Priority.
